The UCSF Neuroscience Imaging Center (NIC) is an MRI facility providing infrastructure, expertise, and support for researchers in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Established in April 2007, the NIC is dedicated to brain imaging research, with a particular emphasis on functional MRI (fMRI). The centerpiece of the NIC is a state-of-the-art Siemens 3 Tesla TIM Trio scanner with head, neck and spine coils.
