The UCSF Neuroscience Imaging Center (NIC) is an MRI facility providing infrastructure, expertise, and support for researchers in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Established in April 2007, the NIC is dedicated to brain imaging research, with a particular emphasis on functional MRI (fMRI). The centerpiece of the NIC is a state-of-the-art Siemens 3 Tesla TIM Trio scanner with head, neck and spine coils.

The NIC hosts an fMRI research meeting from 4-5:30pm the second Wednesday of every month in the Neurology Conference Room on the 8th floor of the Ambulatory Care Center (400 Parnassus), which is open to everyone.

Please contact Dr. Lara Stables if you'd like more information.
